Common Questions

Which formats can I convert between?

Input can be PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, or BMP. Output can be PNG, JPEG, WebP, or BMP. GIF is input-only since it's not great for general use—if you're converting to GIF from something else, it usually means you're losing quality or features.

Does converting hurt the image quality?

Depends on the path. PNG and BMP are lossless—you don't lose anything. JPEG and WebP are lossy, but you control the quality slider. Going from a lossless format to a lossy one at high quality settings is usually imperceptible. Going from JPEG to PNG won't magically restore detail that was already lost.

Can I batch convert multiple images?

Can I resize during conversion?
